Maintenance for Adults
We are all negligent in one way or the other, and yes, this article is for the men too! Some of us it’s our feet, others … our face or overall body. All over the world, while fast food outlets are opening up “a dozen a minute,” there has also been a shift…a greater focus on health and well being. Many people are opting for an organic way of life; and so are a number of corporate giants like in the soft drink industry where bottled water has become the craze. In the fried chicken industry, fish and sweet potato fries have been introduced.
Most of us however, lead a lifestyle where we work long hours, in some cases, study and after all this, still have to find time for the significant other and/or children. This routine often enough takes up the majority of a functional day, and leaves little or no time for cooking and exercising. So, a number of persons aren’t eating properly and then not getting the time to walk or burn off the extra calories.
Roll call…if you have a foot spa, hair dryer, treadmill, exercise bike or any other type of equipment of a similar nature, it’s time to pull it out. For some of you, it’s that gift certificate you got for some occasion and it hasn’t been used yet because you’re ‘sooo busy.’ As we often remind our clients, you have to carve out ME time . . . Use your certificate before it expires; because someone considered YOU, and spent their money to make YOU, feel special! But there are also some of you who, whether due to laziness or just prefer being pampered, do go to have your hair, face, hands, feet and body done to maintain yourselves…keeping your body intact. Hair
It’s one of the first things someone notices if it isn’t well groomed; and while some of us are less concerned about this area, it does make a difference in the overall look. Whether like me you have a ras/dreadlocks, other natural style, relaxed/curled, short or long, or some other type of processed hair, trying to maintain a neat appearance is important.

Regardless of your age or gender, if you want your skin to look and be at its best, you have to take care of it. A facial does for your skin what a month of exercise and good nutrition does for your body; noticeably improve its look and feel.
